Well, my computer, which has lasted for five years so far with very few problems, has finally gotten a very serious problem. One day, when switching Windows XP accounts from mine to my dad's so he could print something, it began refusing to log into Windows altogether. When clicking an account icon, it would claim to be loading, give a quick glimpse of that account's wallpaper, and then immediately log off. With help from e-102y and then Lady Arah's husband, I tried to fix the problem through a few different methods, but so far nothing is working. The last thing I tried was using the Windows XP disc to repair Windows, but for some reason it won't complete the reinstalling process and I'm stuck with a half-loading then freezing version of Windows XP. Before all this happened, I had planned on using this year's tax refund to, first have my truck serviced, and then put the rest toward a new computer. It looks like I'll definitely be doing that now, but there's still a lot of data on that one that I really want to save, so we'll see whether or not that's possible. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to lose all I have on there, but it would be SERIOUSLY INCONVENIENT! At the moment my only outlets to the Internet at home are my Nintendo Wii and DSi (mostly the Wii, which I'm using to type this). So, unfortunately, I won't be able to upload anything until I either get my computer fixed or get a new one, and that really sucks with all the stuff I was planning on working on. Ah well. I'll still use the Wii to check messages and email, but don't count on me being very active until I have a working computer again.
