Favorite Pokemon

Description

I started this quite a while ago and got in the mood to finish it up while trying to work on other stuff. It's a pretty cool meme, and probably the best Pokemon one there is. It got me to draw Pokemon more than I have in years. Anyway, I suppose I'll explain my choices.

Scyther: Mantises are my favorite type of actual bug and Scyther is definitely the toughest bug Pokemon in my book. All that dual blade action is awesome.
Darkrai: Though I don't actually own one yet as I'm still waiting on the Platinum event, I have seen him in a Pokemon movie where he was awesome and his attacks definitely rock. He's like the Batman of Pokemon or something, dark and mysterious.
Kingdra: Sea horses are cool, and sea dragons are even cooler. It's awesome looking and it only has one weakness. It's the king of water Pokemon. Mine is named Elvis. XD
Plusle & Minun: Okay, technically this is two Pokemon, but they're two Pokemon you just can't separate. For the record, I like Plusle better, but these two Pokemon are great together and way cuter than Pikachu in my opinion.
Lucario: Yep, yet another Lucario fan. While I don't like that he altogether replaced Mewtwo in Super Smash Bros. I'm better with him than I was with Mewtwo. I like his attitude, too. He may not take hits very well, but he's fast enough to strike first most of the time and powerful enough to deal some heavy damage. He's my highest leveled non-legendary Pokemon currently.
Charizard: The starter I chose in the original game and still one of my top favorites. He's still as powerful now as he ever was. Not a Pokemon ya wanna mess with.
Lugia: He's got one of the very coolest designs and awesome moves like no other. Lugia's gone back and forth between being my top favorite Pokemon ever since I first saw him in Silver. I can't wait for a chance to get one on Platinum (or Soul Silver if I decide to get it).
Giratina: Another extremely uniquely designed Pokemon. I wasn't sure what the heck he was to start with, but he turns out to be yet another great dragon and ya can't go wrong with those. I prefer his Origin Forme obtainable only in Platinum.
Breloom: Back with Blue and Silver there never really were many grass Pokemon I liked, but the grass Pokemon from the third and fourth generations are great. Treeko and Torterra (my starter) for example, but Breloom stands out as my favorite.
Garchomp: Yeah, it should be obvious by now I love dragon Pokemon and this is another great one. His land shark design is really cool.
Articuno: My favorite of the legendary birds (besides Lugia) still hasn't changed from being my favorite ice Pokemon. I really like the ice type, but there still ain't enough cool ice Pokemon (no pun intended).
Persian: It may not be all that great in battle, but it's a cool looking cat and that's epic win with me.
Ivysaur: I'm glad this is the form they chose to have in Brawl, because it's my favorite. I rarely like the pre-evolved forms of Pokemon better, but Ivysaur is an exception. Pokemon #002 and it's still the coolest poison type.
Mew: The best Pokemon in all existence. Seriously. It's got great balanced stats, a good ability, it's cute enough to induce "aww" fits, and it can learn any TM, HM, and tutored move. Its own moves are also amazing. It's the original shape shifting Pokemon (I'm convinced Ditto is just something Mew musta sneezed out or something ... eww), knows Metronome which is crazy fun, and ... yeah, it's my favorite Pokemon and probably always will be ... what? Shut up, Mew's awesome!
Tyranitar: From one extreme to the other, Tyranitar has got to be the toughest looking Pokemon there is. He's got that whole "I'm gonna go stomp Tokyo for the heck of it." thing going on.
Dialga: Crazy design, awesome dragon, and one of the best moves in the game: Roar of Time. Great type combo too.
Milotic: One of the coolest looking water Pokemon, and also one of the toughest. Which is good, because it sure is a pain to evolve from mud-ugly Feebas, which is even more ridiculously hard to find. It takes a lot of work to get this Pokemon in your team, but it's worth every bit.

And that's it. Them's my favorite Pokemanz.
